Erick was born and raised in Joplin, Mo. He attended and graduated from Parkwood High School. Erick has served in a professional kitchen for over 35 years. He put his culinary skills to work in restaurants such as Travattis, Wilders, and Briarbrook Country Club. He served as a kitchen supervisor at the Hard Rock Cafe in Dallas, Tx. and as a Sous Chef at the Red Oak Steakhouse in Downstream Casino & Resort. He most recently served as the Pit Boss at the Shangri La Hotels and Resorts in Oklahoma, specializing in smoked meats.
